Our Curriculum

Our passion is to develop a unique and tailored curriculum for a particular group. Pop-Up Music School incorporates movement, solfege, active listening exercises, music history, and other musical elements in its classes. In addition, we also incorporate John Feierabend's highly acclaimed curriculum, First Steps in Music.

 

Furthermore, we are committed to teaching children music from around the world, particularly music from Latin America. We create our own world music curriculum as well as utilize the wonderful educational resources from Smithsonian Folkways.
